New Digs, Fresh Possibilities

My outdoor studio has been getting a little makeover, and I thought you might enjoy a peek!
The pavers are down, the tables are in place, and I’m keeping things practical. Painting outside means working around falling leaves, damp mornings, and a few curious squirrels. There are tarps and covers involved...nothing glamorous, but it’s coming together!
One of my favorite parts is my big glass-topped palette table. I love having all that room to mix paint and spread out. There’s something about making physical room that opens up creative possibilities, too.

I’m planning to add some colorful potted plants, because even a very practical painting space needs a little beauty. But I don’t need every detail figured out before I begin. I’ll start painting and make adjustments as I go.
That feels familiar. It’s how so many of my paintings develop. I make a mark, respond to it, change something, and see where it leads. If I waited until I knew exactly how everything would turn out, I might never get started.
So here’s to making room, getting a little messy, and letting the next thing unfold.
Thanks for following along. I’m looking forward to sharing what comes out of this little outdoor corner!
With love,
Viviana
